July 13, 2013 ~ Hayley & Dusty

After meeting on a cold snowy day in Pullman back in 2008, Dusty proposed to Hayley five years later in the summer of 2012 and they were wed one year later, July 13, 2013, at Alderbrook Resort & Spa Friends and family came together for the weekend celebration on the Hood Canal and to commemorate many of their friendships that began at their alma mater, a WSU flag was hung from a balcony above the reception ballroom the morning of the wedding.
Hayley and her bridesmaids were pampered with onsite hair and makeup in one of the Alderbrook Cabins while the groomsmen did final preparations in the Brother's Boardroom. Boston Harbor Photo captured each detail of the day.
With the bridal party looking on, nerves were cleared as Hayley & Dusty saw each other for the first time.
As Hayley and Dusty were off taking photos, the bridal party took advantage of lawns games near the bridesmaids cabin.
With the soft sounds of Arcobaleno Strings, guests took their seats at the waterfront ceremony on the Hood Canal.

After being pronounced husband and wife, the newlyweds enjoyed a champagne toast with their Maid of Honor and Best Man as they signed their marriage license.
Cocktail hour on the checkerboard patio was in full swing as Hayley and Dusty entered the scene. Bruschetta with tomato, basil and artichoke hearts; boursin cheese stuffed peppadews with smoky bacon and chives; and vegetarian spring rolls with a sweet thai chili sauce were passed as friends and family enjoyed the waterfront celebration.
Generation X Productions invited guests inside the Ballroom for dinner, toasts, cake cutting and dancing! Tables featured ivory linens and lush floral arrangements filled with white roses, queen anne's lace and green hydrangeas. Each place setting contained black pocket folded napkins with the evenings menu along with favor boxes filled with the mouth watering caramels and chocolates.

As guests filled the dance floor, Hayley and Dusty took a walk as they watched the sun set over the resort.
Back to the party, the newlyweds joined the guests in the traditional garter and bouquet toss on the lawn outside the ballroom.
A late night bonfire of s'mores and laughter capped off a weekend of memories!
Congratulations Hayley and Dusty!
