Shelbi Chris ~ September 28, 2013

In Seattle we are used to rain but on September 28th when Shelbi and Chris awoke and got ready for their wedding at Swans Trail Farms it was more than a typical Seattle rainy day as it was more like a monsoon with torrential rains and gale force winds. Despite the unfavorable weather, Pink Blossom Events helped guide everyone to Plan C and one unforgettable wedding day was held thanks in part to Shelbi and Chris's flexible and go with the flow attitude. Jenn Repp Photography captured each detail of their wedding day which highlighted the Pacific Northwest's natural elements and surrounding fall colors.
Guests arrived at Swans Trail Farms and were led into the rustic barn for the ceremony. The rustic barn is exposed on the eastside of the building allowing views of the surrounding pond, waterfall, farm and mountains. A personalized wood chest was used as a card box while a custom wood guestbook held loved ones well wishes. Featured on the guestbook and gift table was a "Thank You" note erected from a miniature garden designed by the bride who is known for her green thumb.
The ceremony aisle was lined with wooden stumps and bird cages filled with moss and fall floral.
Taking a quick moment to relax before the ceremony Shelbi and her mom toasted with champagne.
While mother nature made it's presence during the ceremony and accompanied the acoustic guitarist with the sounds of rain falling on the tin roof, Shelbi and Chris shared their first beer together in a custom beer bottle glass during their ceremony.
Following their I Do's, guests made their way into the new indoor facility at Swans Trail Farms for cocktails, dinner and dancing! Tables draped in brown linens and burlap runners featured three styles of centerpieces including birdcages filled with moss and fall floral, a watering can filled with floral and mass and a trio of mason jars filled with fall flowers all atop a tree stump. Each table also featured plates of chocolate dipped shortbread cookies so guests had something sweet to nibble on right away. 
As is tradition when the couple is having a good time and drinks are flowing, pretzel necklaces were available at the bar! Not a bad tradition we must admit?
As friends and family were seated and about to start the buffet, Chris and Shelbi were escorted outside for pictures underneath one spectacular double rainbow. A well deserved pause to enjoy a rain-free moment!
After being announced into dinner and starting the buffet Shelbi and Chris invited guests to enjoy a memory slideshow playing throughout dinner.
After dinner, Shelbi and Chris cut into their tart featuring a custom "pie" topper made to replicate the bride and groom with their beloved bunny and kitty.  
Guests enjoyed mini pies and tarts while they watched the couple take there first dance played by The Dogtones. Soon after guests joined in and kept the dance floor hoppin' all night long!
As a thank you to their guests, a fresh produce station was setup allowing guests to fill customized burlap bags with farm-fresh items from Swans Trail Farms including honeycrisp apples, corn, mini squash & pumpkins.
The newlyweds were squirted with various mermaid-themed bath toys and squirt guns to send them on their way - don't worry, we filled them with warm water!

Andrea, you were an absolute God send to us. The month or so before the wedding I felt such a sigh of relief having you take everything over. AND our wedding day, such a success; you made it all happen. The flow, the smiles, just plain perfect beginning to end. Thank You! Love, Chris & Shelbi

Alli & Max ~ July 13, 2013

While attending college orientation a few years ago, Alli & Max's mom's had met during lunch while they both waited for Alli and Max to sign up for classes. During their conversation they found out that their kids, who were both fans of the Seattle Mariners, were going to have a class together, "The History of Baseball" and knew they must introduce each other so they had a friend on the first day of college. Since that introduction, Alli and Max spoke often that summer about how excited they were to start college and live in Seattle. When it was getting close to the beginning of freshman year Max invited Alli to go to a Mariners' game with him and his roommate, which of course she said yes! The game was the night before they moved into their dorms and they had a lot of fun together.  Once they moved into their dorms they started talking every night and began dating the second day of freshman year. Over they years, they went to many baseball games together, spent time in Yakima with Max’s family, and during breaks he would fly down to Arizona to spend some time with Alli and her family. Their love of baseball brought them together and their love for one another brought them to Hidden Meadows this past July to celebrate their wedding day! 
Bright sunflowers and touches of blue and burlap set the theme for Alli & Max's summer wedding in Snohomish. As the ceremony began, Memory Montage Photography captured each moment.
A very personal ceremony by a dear family friend kicked off the celebrations.
After cocktail hour, guests were led to their tables which were adorned with square burlap overlays and alternated with centerpieces of sunflower arrangements and lanterns with loose floral.
Printed thank yous were placed at each place setting to ensure each guest was personally thanked. As a nod to one of their Grandpa's who had passed, his hat and a beer were placed on the bar in his memory.
Following dinner and toasts, a pie bar was opened so guests could enjoy various pies fresh from Remlinger Farms
After the newlyweds first dance, the dance floor opened for a night of celebration!
S'more favors were sent home with guests after they bid farewell to the newly crowned husband and wife with a sparkler exit to end a magical night of festivities!

Cassidy & John ~ August 17, 2013

After connecting at their 10 Year High School Reunion Cassidy and John said their I Do's at the Seattle Yacht Club on August 17, 2013. Photos by George Street Photo tell the story of their wedding day.
After photos the bridal party took a few moments to relax as guests arrived and were seated on the lawn facing west towards downtown Seattle.
A friend of the couple's officiated the ceremony.
Following the ceremony, John and Cassidy celebrated with friends and family during cocktail hour as they soaked up the warm Seattle summer rays!
With dinner about to be served, loved ones sat underneath the tent and were soon after presented with "bomboniere" as explained by John whose relatives have passed on this tradition at each wedding. The five almonds signify five wishes for the bride and groom: health, wealth, happiness, fertility and longevity.
Following toasts, the newlyweds led their guests inside for cake cutting, first dances, the anniversary dance and the shoe game.
Congratulations Cassidy & John! Wishing you a lifetime of happiness! 

BreeAnn coordinated our wedding last August in Seattle.  In short, she was awesome, and our wedding would not have been nearly the success that it was without her help.  We chose BreeAnn for "Day Of" help.  However, BreeAnn was much more than that.  She was helpful to us throughout our entire wedding planning process and absolutely crucial on our wedding day.  In my opinion, BreeAnn's greatest strengths are her attention to detail and organizational precision.  At all times during our wedding day and rehearsal, she knew exactly who should be where, who should be doing what, etc...  She kept our other vendors organized and on the same page.  She was the conductor that kept the symphony in tune and in rhythm! I would highly recommend BreeAnn to any couple planning a wedding.  My wife and I are very glad that she coordinated our wedding. ~ John

Liza & Gary ~ August 3, 2013

On August 3, 2013 Liza and Gary were married on the shores of Lake Washington as friend and family looked on. Alante Photography was onsite capturing each magical moment of their wedding day which was carefully thought out to incorporate those closest to them or to showcase something that was meaningful to the couple which we found really special about their wedding day. 
Liza and Gary spent the morning getting ready at The Woodmark with their bridal party.
As guests arrived at The Woodmark they were asked to mark their fingerprint and sign their name on a thumbprint tree hand painted by Liza's mom featuring the newlyweds three animals before making their way into the tent for the ceremony 
Wanting to honor both of their parents, Gary and Liza chose to be escorted down the aisle with both their mother's and father's.
To include their mom's in the wedding Liza and Gary asked them to do a reading together during their ceremony. 
After sealing their union with a kiss, the newlyweds toasted with champagne and a spin on Lake Washington on the Woodmark's boat.
As Liza and Gary enjoyed a few moments of alone time as husband and wife, friends and family mingled during a cocktail hour complete with dungeness crab cakes, vegetable spring rolls, pear and brie crostini's, jerk chicken skewers and a vegetable crudite display.
Following cocktail hour on The Woodmark's waterfront lawn, guests made their way back under the Woodmark's tent for dinner.
Food stations representing various locations that were important to Liza and Gary kept guests going back for seconds. Food stations included a Seattle, New York and Italian station noting their time spent in each of the locations. And not to be forgotten the Jamaican signature drink which was enjoyed throughout the evening! 
After champagne was poured, toasts celebrating the newlyweds began. Gary's brother's invited family and friends inside the Lake Washington room to watch their comical toast.
After the final toast and cutting of the cake, the lights dimmed and as the glow of soft uplights around the room and dripping lights that adorned trees surrounding the room, Liza's dad and a family friend played an acoustic version of Jason Mraz's "I Won't Give Up" for the couple's dance. 
With the sun setting, Liza and Gary stole a few minutes outside together to watch the sun fall below the horizon. 
Before heading back inside they spent a moment underneath the dripping lights that hung from one of the waterfront trees. After seeing the dripping lights on the streets of New York during the holidays, GreenLight Event Design was able to make that vision come to reality on Liza's wedding day as that was one detail she new they couldn't forget! 
As guests were dancing, a Canadian Station was opened for those craving a late night treat of Beaver Tails and crepes in addition to cupcakes by The SweetSide
Heading home that evening passion fruit marshmallow favors by Tallant House, Fine Sweets & Other Eats were displayed as a nod to Gary's favorite treat while in Paris.

BreeAnn did an amazing job planning and organizing our wedding. She was professional, well organized, responsive, and lots of fun to work with! She always responded promptly to our emails and phone calls, and the amount of attention and work that she put into our wedding made us feel as though we were her only clients...our wedding day turned out to be even more perfect than we could have hoped. ~ Liza & Gary
