Christmas Party ~ December 8, 2012

'Twas the night of a fabulous Christmas Party at DeLille Cellars Chateau earlier this month as Pink Blossom Events coordinated an event to remember for one of our clients! As guests pulled into the Chateau their vehicles were parked by Butler Seattle and they were escorted into the party where they were greeted by Santa and Red Fish Blue Fish Photography for Santa photos!
(Christmas Tree by Fena Flowers, Santa chair provided by Make A Scene)
After pictures with Santa, guests made their way up the stairs to the main level where they found their place card on a table featuring a grapevine sleigh and presents designed by Pink Blossom Events. Walking into the main room they were engulfed in a vision of winter greens, golds, ivory and candlelight designed by Pink Blossom Events.
To compliment the peacock and jewel toned decor provided by DeLille Cellars (fireplace garland, a Christmas tree and swags for the wall sconces), Pink Blossom Events brought in espresso pintuck linens for the dinner tables and antique violet linens with espresso sashes for the cocktail tables. Working with Fena Flowers, Pink Blossom Events adorned the chandeliers with gold ornaments, created lush floral centerpieces complete with gold ornaments and added garlands for the dessert display area to ensure a warm and inviting Christmas Party.
Marking their seats by the place cards in hand, they were then treated to delicious appetizers by Kaspars Special Events & Catering and a private wine tasting by DeLille Winery with the music of pianist Josh Rawlings of J&J Music in the background.
An interactive shaken salad station by Kaspars Special Events & Catering kicked off dinner allowing guests to continue mingling and eating!
Once seated for the main entree, guests found themselves dining on gold beaded chargers from ABC Special Event Rentals and using ivory napkins that Pink Blossom Events had wrapped in gold ribbon and adorned with silver jingle bells with a sprig of cedar. One lucky guest at each table went away with a twenty five dollar gift card to Amazon as their gold chameleon chair had randomly been decorated with a floral swag.
A puzzle competition (each person on the winning team receiving a hundred dollar gift certificate), dancing, live music by J&J Music and the most delectable dessert bar by Lady Yum followed dinner.
Wishing you a Merry Christmas!

A special thank you to all of the vendors who helped Pink Blossom Events pull together the party details!

White Elephant Christmas Party!

One often wonders what an event planner does during the Holiday's when they have a weekend off from events? While some might think it's a good reason to rest, we feel it's an opportunity to plan a party for our friends and family! Each year I host a White Elephant Christmas Party and every year it seems the gifts, food and laughter multiply!
-
As guests arrived we asked them to note why they have been Naughty or Nice? Later on in the evening we read some of the most humorous, which gave us a bit of a chuckle!
A holiday themed appetizer competition brought out the competitiveness in all of us! Grinch guacamole, cheese molded into a Snowman and a Christmas tree; a crescent roll inspired Christmas tree; chocolate stout home brew disguised as reindeer; a Christmas tree featuring cracker presents that were wrapped with celery "ribbon;" white chocolate Santa hat pretzels; a Christmas tree pizza and candy cane marshmallows with hot chocolate!
This year's White Elephant theme asked guests to bring "a gift to keep you entertained while you are trapped at home with the relatives." Gifts included a liter of booze, ear muffs to drown out the noise and a festive holiday sweater to name a few!
We wish you a very Merry Christmas and hope you had fun celebrating the season!

Gail & Zach - August 4, 2012

Always a favorite venue of Pink Blossom Events, the Pan Pacific Hotel Seattle pulled out all the stops the evening of August 4, 2012 as Gail & Zach treated their guests to an evening to remember! Barbie Hull Photography was onsite to capture all the stunning details!

Pink Blossom Events worked with Bloom by Bella, AA Party Rentals and the entire team of vendors to turn the Pan Pacific Hotel into a lush setting of champagne and shades of purple. One of our favorite additions was the cut paper installation used as the ceremony backdrop created by Celeste Cooning and accented with lighting by Your Song Entertainment.

After saying their I Do's guests enjoyed cocktail hour both indoors (a rare day when air conditioning is a must in Seattle!) and outside on the patio soaking up the hot summer heat.

With the chime of the dinner bell, guests moved into the Lakefront Room for dinner featuring entrees of herb grilled portabella mushrooms, filet mignon and a seared parmigiana encrusted halibut.

A highlight of the evening was when the newlyweds were announced into dinner which led into the couple's first dance that was sung by Gail's Father, accompanied by Your Song Entertainment, to the tune of "For Once in My Life" by Frank Sinatra.

Not only was there a delicious wedding cake by Macrina Bakery & Cafe but a late night snack bar which came out later that evening featuring made to order crepes and miniature desserts by the Pan Pacific Hotelplus a visit by Whidbey Island Ice Cream to cool off from the late night summer heat!

After filling up on dinner and dessert, guests took turns in the photo booth and shimmied on the dance floor! The bridal party treated all of the guests to a choreographed "wobble" at one point during the evening.

Congratulations Gail & Zach!

Hello BreeAnn, I have to say, you are awesome!  You pretty much kept me sane the month before the wedding and the day of the wedding. Zach and I love your personality and your work ethic. You kept everything under control and you did not leave any detail behind. For the past week, we have been hearing rave reviews on how much fun our guests had at the wedding and how everything was so beautiful and how everything ran smoothly. The day of the wedding day was perfect...Our parents were also soo happy to have you at the wedding as well. We will always recommend you to our friends and will use you for future parties.
Thank you again for the awesome wedding! ~ Gail

Laura & Gavin ~ July 14, 2012

You know it's going to be a good day when the Bride's Best Friends show up to greet the bride wearing leis, feather boas and dancing to a boom box! Mode Wedding Photographers was on hand to capture getting ready at Cedarbrook Lodge and all the fun that continued from that point on!

Not too far from the wedding venue, Normandy Park Cove, Gavin and his best friends toasted to the day ahead!
After arriving at Normandy Park Cove Laura and Gavin saw each other for the first time.
Touring the grounds they visited the pond, gardens and waterfront!
As Pink Blossom Events was finishing final setup details, the bride and groom signed their marriage license then watched as guests started arriving.
A few looming rain clouds held off so Laura and Gavin could marry in front of the wedding garden. Wild flowers lined the aisle as Julie Cooper officiated the ceremony.

After a sand ceremony, readings and a blessing from a long time family friend, they were pronounced Husband and Wife!
Guests enjoyed passed appetizers and cocktails on the covered patio before heading inside for dinner.
As family and friends entered the venue, photos of relatives weddings greeted guests at the gift table and a seating chart by Valerie's Invites led guests to their seats.
White tablecloths were adorned with satin runners and chair covers were brightened with burgundy chair covers. Pops of bright market flowers brought summer into the room! A custom scrapbook, in lieu of a traditional guestbook, was placed at each table for guests to complete during dinner. Organza bags filled with chocolate espresso beans were given out as favors.

After dinner toasts, cutting of the Molten Lava Cake and first dances followed!
As the sun began to set the Newlyweds made a quick trip to the beach which was a first for many of their guests who had never watched a Seattle sunset.
Bugsie Productions kept the dance floor full that evening as their guests danced the night away!
At the end of the night, you know it's a good party when the limbo stick comes out! Props to the bride, who won the competition!
Congratulations Laura & Gavin! We were truly inspired by your contagious spirit of fun, laughter and ensuring all of your guests had a fabulous time!

Hi BreeAnn,

I just want to tell you again how much I appreciate your help. You do your job very well, and I know we would not be anywhere near as ready as we are now without all your guidance and suggestions.

I really am working through the list of things you sent. Anyway, things are moving along, and hopefully there won't be so many distractions in the next few days and I'll get it done and off to you.

I hope you are enjoying the nice weather we are having now.

Take care.

Veronica (Mother of Bride, August 19, 2012)
Hello, BreeAnn! No doubt Laura has been or will be extending her thanks to you, but I want to add my appreciation for the very professional way you assisted in planning her and Gavin's wedding last weekend.  As someone who once had responsibility for planning complex events, I was especially impressed by your positive attitude, your social skills, and by your obvious administrative ability. Your published timeline was a great help to Mary (MOB) and me because we arrived in Seattle only days before the wedding.  The outcome was evident when everything happened just as planned.  Everyone had a great time, in part because of you.  All best wishes in the future.
