A Fairytale Ending - Bev & Jeff!

For Bev and Jeff it was "All About the Journey" that lead them to Hidden Meadows on November 19, 2011. What impressed me most about Bev and Jeff was not only how important this day was about celebrating their love but also how important it was in making sure each of their friends and family in attendance knew how special they were in their lives. Pink Blossom Events had the privilege of coordinating their wedding day and ensuring that each carefully thought out detail was carried through. Details of the day were captured by Azzura Photography. A canvas of blushes, browns and champagne tones filled the November skyline. With a love of cycling in mind, it was only fitting that a bike made it into the wedding day!As guests made their way into the ceremony barn at Hidden Meadows, they walked past engagement photos of the couple and opened the doors which had been covered in wreaths by Ring Around the Rose. Pink Blossom Events worked with Rented Elegance, Ring Around the Rose and a specialty aisle company to transform the venue into a romantic setting for a ceremony that reminded all of us what true love is all about! Paper goods by Valerie's Invites pulled together all of the elements of the wedding day including the red bike that could be seen throughout the day!
As they were announced husband and wife, guests were invited into the reception barn for an evening full of festivities! Hidden Meadows was a vision of pure beauty that evening! Draping by Rented Elegance, centerpieces created by Ring Around the Rose, linens from ABC Special Event Rentals by Cort, and uplighting by Your Song Entertainment completed the look they had dreamed of! To ensure a few personal touches were included, Bev's family made homemade Alaskan mixed berry jam - paying tribute to the bride's hometown -for each guest to take home and wine corks were used throughout to ensure their other passion, wine tasting, was not forgotten! Kids were treated like royalty at their special table that featured a candy centerpiece! After guests had enjoyed cocktails, appetizers and a few fun touches including an interactive mad libs game and photo booth, they were ready to welcome the newlyweds for dinner! While guests finished a delicious dinner, toasts were given by the couples loved ones. Heartfelt speeches including one by Bev's daughter brought everyone to tears. Toasts ended with a surprise performance coordinated by Your Song Entertainment and one of Bev's Brothers who sang one of the couples favorite Rascal Flatts songs. As Taylor Swifts "Today was a Fairytale" played in the background Bev and Jeff cut their wedding cake.

Along with a wedding cake, a sweet station ("Love is Sweet" banner by heathoriginal) featured the couples favorite desserts. Later that evening as the dancing continued, guests were treated to late night ice cream bars by Whidbey Island Ice Cream.

With the snow beginning to fall outside and the last song of the evening playing, guests were given sparklers as they made their way outside for the grand getaway. As their loved ones were waiting outside (brrr!), Bev and Jeff had only eyes for each other as they slow danced to Taylor Swift's Fairytale Ending in the empty room. Congratulations Bev & Jeff! We wish you nothing but the best as you continue on your journey together!

Matthews Estate - Weddings In Woodinville!

"Love is in the Air" was the theme for Matthews Estate at this year's Weddings In Woodinville! Pink Blossom Events had the opportunity to design and coordinate the theme for Matthews Estate and we were thrilled with how the Tasting & Barrel Room and Estate House looked on event day and was captured by Alyssa Rose Photography! Succulents with pops of robin’s egg blue and burgundy led the way to a romantic rehearsal dinner in the Tasting & Barrel Room and an elegant picnic wedding reception up at the Estate House. As guests toured Matthews Estate they were able to envision not only their wedding day but also the perfect location for their rehearsal dinner! (Custom map by Veronica Ruggenberg)

Upon their arrival at Matthews Estate, guests were greeted by owners, Diane and Cliff Otis, as they made there way into the Tasting and Barrel Room which had been transformed into a romantic rehearsal dinner with lush floral by Laurel's Floral Decor, paper goods by Chic Ink and rentals by ABC Special Event Rental by Cort. Bugsie Productions kept the beat going as guests nibbled on appetizers by Gourmondo Catering and sipped Matthews 2010 Blackboard Sauvignon Blanc. Newlyweds along with their friends and family were then chauffeured up to the Estate House for a glimpse at an elegant picnic reception. Stepping off the vehicle, they were greeted with a glass of Matthews 2009 Blackboard Red Wine as they had the choice of entering the Estate House or continuing into the tent. Gourmondo Catering featured a number of additional favorites for guests to enjoy while Morfey's Cakes hit the sweet tooth's with samples of their champagne cake! The Estate House featured flower girl dresses by Cutie Patootie Designz and I Love Blush onsite beauty services! With Pink Blossom Events vision in mind, Laurel's Floral Decor and Heathoriginal helped bring to life the picnic themed reception inside Matthews Estate tent! Guests entered the tent that was full of creative elements such as this guestbook which allows guests to leave the bride and groom a note to read later on during their honeymoon or perhaps on their fiftieth wedding anniversary! In lieu of the traditional banquet table, Pink Blossom Events brought in six wooden picnic tables along with pillows by A Tailored Affair to add a twist to the traditional reception seating. Honey favors, table numbers and menus by Heathoriginal were the perfect addition to the baby blue and burgundy floral arrangements by Laurel's Floral Decor. In addition to the unique decor elements, guests enjoyed live music by SwingSet Band and had fun in the Fun Frames Photo Both! Matthews Estate was the place to be that day!

Thank you to Weddings In Woodinville for inviting Pink Blossom Events to be one of the 2012 featured planners! Pink Blossom Events is looking forward to planning another celebration at Matthews Estate!
