It’s easy, it’s fun and it’s done!

And this year we’re extending the fun a little longer with a new event finale. Immediately following the show, get on board Argosy Cruises Champagne Lady for the Cocktail Cruise. Tiffany & Clayton - July 30, 2011

What a beautiful day to get married! On a sunny Seattle day this July, Tiffany enjoyed time with her ladies getting ready at the Grand Hyatt Seattle and Marco Salon. Clayton and his groomsmen spent time at the couples Kirkland residence, relaxing and preparing for the day ahead of them. Tiffany and Clayton’s first moments together were spent on the grounds of the University of Washington campus, near the breathtaking Rainier Vista and fountain. In the hands of Ron Storer, the bridal party and family gathered together for some memorable photo ops. The Sylvan Grove Theater was the backdrop for the ceremony.
The antique family truck played a significant role in adding a touch of color and excitement as it took them from the Sylvan Grove Theater to Salty’s and later to the Grand Hyatt Seattle. Certainly a meaningful and classic addition to a beautiful day! As teachers, the couple highlighted their occupations and passion throughout the day with subtle notes: a chalk board welcome sign, classic school desks with pens, scissors, rulers and love notes to host their guestbook and a wonderful donation as their favors to a local organization called Childhaven, which supports families that have experienced abuse.
Guests were greeted by refreshments and stunning views upon arriving at the reception. Salty’s was the perfect location for this couple, as it also happens to be one of their favorite restaurants. To accompany the cake and cupcakes, guests were treated to Salty’s classic chocolate fountain – what a delicious hit! During the reception guests enjoyed great music along with interactive and entertaining elements thanks to DJ Bob including custom bridal party introductions, a newlywed trivia game featuring the couple’s shoes, a “sing for your supper” table dismissal for dinner, as well as a fun and flirty bouquet and garter toss. Congratulations Tiffany & Clayton!

Thank you to all who contributed to making this day a wonderful success!

Shannon & Kirby - October 1, 2011

"And we ate and ate and ate..." was the plan as Shannon and Kirby wed this October at The Fields at Willie Green's. Shannon who teaches at Seattle's Le Cordon Bleu had always dreamed of hosting an elaborate feast for her friends and family. When she and Kirby were planning their wedding, she flourished at the opportunity to plan a meal for her guests! With the help of her students and culinary friends, her vision came to life on October 1, 2011. Belathee Photography captured the fresh food and organic inspired wedding. Kirby, a local meteorologist, had promised Shannon that rain would not come on the day of their wedding as they had planned an intimate outdoor ceremony. When they awoke to showers the morning of their wedding, they turned to Pink Blossom Events for plan b! The rain held off as guests enjoyed a pre-ceremony cocktail hour featuring a photo booth, lawn games, cocktails and food made by Shannon and her wedding culinary team! The pre-ceremony menu included olive roasted nuts, marinated olives, local fruits, fresh breads and a selection of homemade cheeses. Shannon's sister officiated the ceremony. Once the ceremony finished, guests moved into the greenhouse for more food, laughter, food and, well food! Two long reception tables were covered in burlap and market flowers. Each place setting featuring a bamboo plate, cleverly wrapped utensils and a homemade honey favor! Vintage glass bottles of herb infused water as well as mini-jam jars filled with sliced veggies and buttermilk blue cheese dip were scattered amongst the tables. The dinner menu included only the freshest of ingredients from sliced heirloom tomatoes with fresh herbs and olive oil to a variety of meats including smoke roasted pork loin and locally caught wild salmon that was brined and smoked by a friend. Bon Appetite! Pink Blossom Events scouted out wooden spools which functioned as bistro tables throughout the venue. (side note: we left these at Willie Green's for future weddings to use!) To cure sweet tooth's, guests were treated to homemade chocolate chip cookies and milk while they danced in the greenhouse! As is tradition at Willie Green's, each guest was given a produce box as they headed home. The box included farm fresh lettuce, carrots, onions, garlic, raspberries and beans!Congratulations Shannon & Kirby!

Andrea & Brad - Salish Lodge - September 30, 2011

"Shoes can change your life." As Andrea and Brad tied the knot at Salish Lodge this September, it was evident that shoes really can make a difference. Not only has Andrea been a professional dancer for most of her life and currently owns her own dance studio, but the couple met while Andrea was teaching a dance class one evening when Brad happened to join her class. Since that dance class, Andrea and Brad knew they were meant for each other! With their wedding shoes on, it was time to celebrate! Wedding day captured by Nicole Goddard Photography. With a vision of peacock feathers, The Petal and The Stem transformed the bridal bouquets, boutonnieres and floral arrangements into works of art! Blank fabric quilt squares were displayed in lieu of a traditional guestbook which would later be sewn together to form a quilt for the newlyweds. The Salish Ballroom glowed in romance by the candlelight aisle, the metallic gold sparkly aisle runner and the dramatic uplighting on the wedding arch. After cocktails and appetizers, guests moved upstairs for dinner. Before the first course came out, Andrea's Great Uncle, who officiated the wedding, gave a blessing. While Andrea changed into her second dress of the evening (more appropriate for dancing) along with her dancing shoes, guests were given a group dance lesson by two of Andrea's instructors from American Ballroom Dance Institute. As Andrea and Brad made their entrance, trays of champagne were finished being passed, signifying toasts would soon begin. With tears and laughter filling the room, Brad and Andrea cut the cake! Maple bars and cherry turnovers from Edmonds Bakery were also served as this was a father-daughter tradition that must be shared! Perfectly choreographed first dances left guests wanting more as the dance floor opened up! Congratulations Brad & Andrea!

BreeAnn was a delight to work with in every way. Professional, flexible, kept us in the loop with every detail, excellent communicator. She had all details taken care of before I had thought of them. I could not have done this without her. She stayed in touch with her clipboard the whole evening of the wedding until the wee hours to make sure everything went as planned. She exceeded my expectations. Her value went way beyond what I had to pay for her! ~ Colette, Mother of the Bride
