January Wedding Network USA Meeting - Palace Ballroom!

As the Seattle Wedding Network USA Regional Chapter Director, I am honored to be a part of so many great events and it just so happens I got to coordinate the first meeting of the year! Follow along as I recap the January 2011 Meeting. Photographs by Mode Weddings...
On January 26 Palace Ballroom hosted a record turnout as the Seattle WNUSA Chapter gathered for an educational meeting that inspired all of us to attract more brides and help grow our businesses this New Year! As guests entered Palace Ballroom they were treated to a glass of wine and food stations featuring some of Tom Douglas's signature dishes, including Tom's Famous Triple Coconut Cream Pie Bites! Our keynote speaker for the evening, Natalie Bradly of Bride Attraction Expert, gave an inspiring presentation on "How to Attract All the Brides You Need in Your Wedding Business." Truly one of the best speakers we had all had the opportunity to learn from! With the educational interest high it was time to start the round table of experts! Guests moved from table to table as various experts introduced us to the key elements needed for success in their area of expertise. We also had an opportunity to ask questions on the spot with these experts which was an added bonus! Experts included:

Contract Law: Rodger I. Kohn; Tousley Brain Stephen PLLC
Social Media: Nems Scarim; Nems Consulting
Alcohol Training: Alcohol Certified Training Class
Small Business Administration
A big thank you goes out to all the vendors who worked hard to make the evening so special!

Seattle Sundries

As an event planner I always find joy in coming upon a unique item that could be used as a wedding favor, addition to a welcome basket or of course just a great gift! While on the Weddings In Woodinville tour the other weekend, I met Anne Sylte Bloom, owner of Seattle Sundries, and fell in love with her line of handcrafted soaps. I think the spearmint and tangerine scented soap was by far my favorite out the samples she had on display.Anne's passion of creating soaps has evolved over the past eighteen years and the great thing about her soaps is that you can customize them specifically for your event! If you think about it, soaps are the perfect wedding favor as who doesn't use soap?Be sure to visit the Seattle Sundries website for your next bar of soap!
