Amanda & Bryan - July 24, 2010

What's better than a delicious brunch with family and friends? Why, a morning wedding followed by a brunch reception! That is exactly what Amanda and Bryan, who currently live in North Carolina, wanted as they were back home to celebrate their wedding with friends and family. The pair who were introduced by their grandma's knew they had to make the day special!

Here is a sneak peak of their wedding day courtesy of Beautiful Endings Photography.

The early morning began before sunset as Amanda got ready on the Everett Waterfront at The Inn at Port Gardner. As the early morning sun was beaming in the background, Amanda and Bryan exchanged their vows at Harborview Park. Bryan's Grandpa officiated the intimate ceremony. After the ceremony, guests made their way to Floral Hall for a celebration to be remembered. Guests were greeted with bloody marys and mimosas then were asked to type a message to the newlyweds on the typewriter. The kids were entertained with an I Spy game during cocktail hour. Once Amanda & Bryan were announced the real party began, with the gourmet crepes dished by Simply Seasoned Catering to the live music from Swing Set, no one would know that it was only noon! The reception ended with the cutting of a special homemade pie from Amanda's Grandma. With toes still taping and a full stomach, guests headed out to spend the sunny afternoon at the home of Bryan's grandparents who lived on a nearby lake!

I am looking forward to seeing the rest of the photos taken by Beautiful Endings Photography as Amanda made sure to put her personal touch on all of the decor! Stay tuned!

As their website states SoulMates is "the sole-ution to wearing high heels in grass, cobblestones, bricks, wooden decks, and over subway grates!"

Miner's Landing at Pier 57 Seattle

You want a downtown Seattle ceremony but you also want to be outside on the water. Well, this is good news if you're looking for an indoor venue with a view of the water. Right?

Wrong! Don't give up just yet as I may have a perfect venue for you! I had the opportunity to tour the event space at Miner's Landing at Pier 57 Seattle and it could be exactly what you had in mind for your wedding! At the end of the pier, their outdoor venue offers sweeping view of Elliott Bay along with space capable of holding a one hundred and fifty people. This means there is plenty of room to handle your ever growing guest list!
For your reception, why not consider hosting your reception at one of their venues. For a more casual affair, or even your rehearsal dinner, try The Crab Pot Restaurant. If you're looking for a more formal affair, host your reception at Fishermans, where you will be dinned by their exclusive catering staff. From buffets to plated, they can handle any of your requests.

Be sure to stop in and pick up your copy of Seattle Bride's Fall/Winter 2010 Issue! Flip to page 110 for a highlight of Emily & Sam's wedding we coordinated and then continue to page 112 to see Pink Blossom Events' ad! Another great issue! And while you are at the store, make sure you grab a copy of Seattle Metropolitan Bride & Groom's Summer 2010 Issue as it is a must read! Pink Blossom Events is featured on page 140! Happy Reading!
