Lindsay and Eric - July 30, 2010 - It's all about color!

It's all about color was the theme at Pickering Barn on July 30, 2010 as Lindsay and Eric exchanged vows under the summer sun. Every detail of the wedding was carefully selected and handcrafted by Lindsay and her family. From the custom ski's that doubled as a guest book, to the "just married" banner, no detail was left behind, or without a bright hue! (Amy Walton Photography)
As Lindsay and Eric shared their first glance with each other, Eric made sure that Lindsay was looking good at all angles! I think he approved! To honor Lindsay's only sibling who had passed away five years ago, Lindsay and Eric were photographed with a red sports car. A very fitting tribute! To stick with the theme, Lindsay and Eric's attendants wore a range of colors; from the shoes to the bouquets, each bridesmaid had a hue of her own and a coordinating groomsman as well! Upon entering Pickering Barn for the ceremony, guests were asked to sign the guest "skis" in honor of the couples love of corduroy runs and deep powder! As they were seated, guests were handed a cold brew (or water) in a personalized coozie to enjoy during the ceremony! A perfect way to beat the stress of rush hour traffic! To cool down each guest was given a colored fan favor as well! With a cold drink in hand, guests were eager to get the ceremony started as Eric escorted both his mother and mother in-law down the aisle in anticipation for his bride to be. As the officiant announced the newlyweds, Michael of the Michael Benson Band, surprised the couple with the WSU fight song in honor of their alma matter! Go Cougs! With beer coozies in hand and the summer sun setting, guests dined on appetizers from Pacific Northwest Catering then were escorted into the barn for dinner. The colorful escort cards and boards helped guests locate their seats for the evening.Inside Pickering Barn one could only feel happy inside as there was color everywhere. From the multicolored lanterns hanging from the ceiling to the tables adorned in various shades of runners, gerber daisy's and colorful cupcakes! In addition, kids were given coloring books to keep entertained. The crowd cheered as Lindsay and Eric entered the barn to kick off dinner and toasts! To top off the day, guests were treated to cake and the Michael Benson Band! A truly perfect ending to a Seattle summer wedding!
Congratulations Lindsay and Eric!

BreeAnn- thank you thank you thank you! Everything went perfect! I can't believe it!

There is no way we could have done it without you. We said you were worth your weight in gold times 10 before the wedding and you proved us wrong! You were worth your weight in gold times a million! Having you was easily the best decision and investment we made for the whole wedding!

We are laying on the beach soaking up the sun and sharing wedding stories, we got a million compliments on everything and people said it was the most fun wedding ever!

Thank you for everything I am giving your name to EVERYONE I know getting married!
