My day at Lola and Palace Ballroom!

If someone wants to treat me, all they have to do is mention the words 'Greek food' in one sentence and I'm sold! Ok, well, maybe not that simple, but after my lunch at Lola the other week, I must say I will be returning!
That lunch was spent sampling, homemade humus and roasted red pepper spreads with grilled pita, greek salad, pickled beets (skordailia) and their famous smashed garlic fried potatoes. I enjoyed the long lunch chatting with Alexis Berry, Catering Sales Manger, of Tom Douglas Catering & Events about our recent wedding together at Georgetown Ballroom on May 30th. Working with them was incredible as their food, service and event day staff were spectacular!

After our lunch we walked over to tour Palace Ballroom, owned by Tom Douglas. With 6,000 square feet of space to entertain with, this is a planners dream! From the exposed brick walls to the versatile floor plan, to the venue and catering team, this is the place to host an event!

I am looking forward to working again with Tom Douglas Catering & Events and hope to have an event at Palace Ballroom soon! Below is a sneak peak from weddings recently held at Palace Ballroom!
