Palm Reading

I have always been fascinated by palmistry and other psychic readings, so when Jim Barker of The Divine Hand Palmistry offered to read my palm the other week, I was thrilled!
Jim has been a professional palm reader for over 20 years in the Seattle area. When we met, the only thing he knew about me was that I was an event planner, but he managed to connect all the lines with what was going on with my life, whether it be past, present or future. I found it intriguing that so much could be discovered about a person simply by looking at their hands. As Jim explained, "your hands have more moving parts than any other single part of your body. What you do and who you are is expressed through your hands. When you change a habit, or a career, or a hobby – it shows up in the hands through a change in the muscle tone, the calluses, and the lines. Through years of study and experience, I can identify aspects expressed in body language through your hands, and develop a good overall view of what is going on in your life based on both traditional and modern interpretations."

Jim has done palm readings for a number of events including bachelorette parties, wedding rehearsals, birthday parties and one on one readings as well. I would highly recommend contacting him for your next event if you want to add something unique.

Warrior Diva 40th Birthday Party!

It's not every day that I get a request for a Warrior Diva themed party, but that is exactly what Shannon wanted as she turned 40 this past Saturday. Her only requests were to combine the Claymore Japanese character along with a long dreamed wish to have British tea sandwiches and scones incorporated into the menu. Lucas Mobley Photography captured some photographs of the event details as the party began.
Paper Fling created the Warrior Diva banner and table programs.
Foodz Catering filled her wish by creating a signature Warrior Diva Menu for both the kids and adults.
Friends and family joined the backyard celebration under sunny Seattle skies at the "Warrior Training Grounds." Guests enjoyed various Warrior Training Activities. Little Warriors spent the evening coloring paper swords and crowns along with running around the yard blowing bubbles. Big Warriors got the chance discover their inner warrior through a lip, tarot or psychic reading by Deni, of Read My Lips.
After the Warrior feast and Warrior Training Activities, guests enjoyed a one of a kind Claymore cake complete with a hand painted sword by Chocolaz Artisan Cakes.

Pete & Tori's Wedding

It's not very often that I get to be in an actual wedding and not have to worry about all the details...are the pictures are on time? Has the cake arrived? This past June I was a bridesmaid at my friends wedding at Lord Hill Farms. Pete and Tori had been together ever since they were in high school so it was only fitting that one of their best friends officiated their wedding. The day was filled with lots of laughter and memories which was captured picture perfectly by Alyssa of Alyssa Rose Photography who also caputred their engagement photos. It was so nice to be able to relax and just enjoy the evening!
Esprit de Fleur transformed the space into an elegant evening with touches of diamonds throughout the room.
Mike's Amazing Cakes provided the cake that was infamously cut by a sword.
Alyssa Rose Photography set up a photo booth which provided entertainment after dinner for all guests.
And we danced the night away from music by Bugsie Productions!
